CoVLP Vaccine Trial for 2 – 18 Years Old

Covaxin was recommended by the Covid-19 Subject Expert Committee of the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO). The committee deliberated on the application made by Bharat Biotech requesting permission for Phase II and Phase III testing to assess the safety and immunity of children in the 2-18 age groups of their vaccines.

CoVLP Vaccine Trial Phase 2

Recently, Bharat Biotech founder Dr. Krishna Ella, spoke about testing on children for the first phase of covaxin. During this time, he explained that “We had permission from the Drugs Controller General to conduct the test in 2–18 years.
